SVILEN GAMOLOV

When researching ideas for my the design i wanted to have for the building and interior , i came across a interior designer called Svilen Gamolov.His work struck to me because of its interesting composition and shape and elegant plain colours that  still work well together for instance black and white.

Looking at his work for the interior design for the chairs i liked the idea of a chair similar to the shape of a box but also being able to add the colour which was themed around the building on the sides to blend in with the rest of the building. 

I also found these chairs interesting. With the use of shapes to create a chair makes them look exciting to sit on. Not keeping the basic design of a chair but instead make it slightly different and give it the edgy look too the whole building. 

When i googled cube chairs i came across this design but i couldnt find the designer. Made with polyethylene, it is a soft comfortable chair to sit on. 

WAY FINDING

For the way finding my idea i wanted to have was to have floating letters hanging from invisible string to create the illusion look. Hanging from different lengths different words such as canteen, art, dance will be hanging from the ceiling in the main entrance.
